Administration and Compliance Officer

Entertainment Assist is a national health promotion charity supports the mental health and wellbeing of the Australian entertainment industry.  We are committed to helping reduce the high rates of anxiety, depression and suicide reported through world first research conducted by Entertainment Assist in 2015.

Based in South Yarra and reporting to the General Manager, this role takes responsibility for the smooth operation of the Entertainment Assist office and supporting a small team in creating an efficient, organised and highly productive environment.

A perfect role for an experienced, astute, high achieving and self-starting administrator, some areas of responsibility are:

  • Accounting administration (invoicing, payroll, basic accounting/bookkeeping and budgeting (Reckon software)
  • Front of house (welcoming and caring for guests, answering phones and responding to correspondence)
  • Board reporting (assist GM with the preparation of monthly board documents).
  • Office management (maintenance of equipment, ordering stationery, managing external suppliers around quotes and purchase of items, electronic and paper filing)
  • Compliance administration (due diligence to ensure fundraising charitable status is maintained)
  • Travel & Events (booking of travel, accommodation and general logistics, assist with the organisation of external events such as charity evenings, industry gatherings etc.)

We are keen to meet outstanding people who can demonstrate a high level of experience in:


  • Managing the administrative needs of a small professional office
  • Overseeing compliance administration, preferably in the charitable, NGO or mental health sector
  • Creating administrative outcomes to the highest degree of accuracy, detail and literacy
