Hardings Hotmix is a locally owned civil construction company, with over 30 years experience in the Industry. We offer the following services; road construction, concrete kerbing, bituminous and asphalt sealing, linemarking and asphalt production.
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, suitably experienced person to undertake the role of Project Manager/ Estimator in our civil construction division. The work is interesting and varied, it involves client and supplier consultation, contract management, organising of works in progress as well as pricing new works.
You will need to have the following competencies and experience:
A minimum of five years experience in the civil construction industry or similar
Experience in coordination of personnel and projects, including; resources, budget and times constraints
Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting plans and specifications in order to price and manage works
Experience in estimation and quoting
Demonstrated in preparing and maintaining project management documentation
Ability to effectively communicating and working with a wide group of people
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Previous experience using Microsoft programs including; Outlook, Word, Excel and Project
Understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation as it applies to the construction industry.
Class C or equivalent drivers license
