Qualified Electrician

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused full-time Electrician to join our growing team.

As an electrician, you will be responsible for daily job management assigned by the operations manager and supervision of an assigned apprentice.

Work type & location

Works generally consisting of government, commercial, residential and industrial refurbishments, maintenance, repairs and installations all over Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, and Hunter region.

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

• Has commercial experience
• Is able to read and interpret construction plans
• Displays excellent communication skills with clients and co-workers
• Displays strong customer-focused service skills
• High attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is able to manage variation and changes
• Be able to work with and direct apprentices.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and hold the following:

• Must have an NSW Electrical Licence or studying towards
• Current NSW Drivers Licence
• OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry
• Working with Children clearance check or willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
• Have extensive knowledge of the Electrical Standards & Wiring rules
• Have experience in Air-conditioning and/or Fire services is desired however not essential
