Centre Manager / Receptionist

Working Arrangements

  • Full time position, 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm
  • 12 month contract with a view to a permanent position
  • Annual salary $60,000 plus superannuation

Role

The East Adelaide Medical Centre is a multidisciplinary strata titled building providing a range of medical, dental and allied health services. The Centre Manager / Receptionist is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the operational requirements of the strata corporation, which includes reception, administration, financial and strata services.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage all strata services and facilities
  • Provide reception and administration services
  • Liaise and assist strata owners and tenants as required and assist with the commencement or termination of a leasing or purchase agreement
  • Maintain an awareness of current and new legislation to ensure the strata corporation is compliant with all statuary and regulatory bodies
  • Accounts payable and receivable and payroll
  • Liaise with the strata management consultant and external accountant
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all suppliers and business professionals
  • Prepare recommendations and quotes for the purchase of capital items and major works
  • Organise and attend all executive and annual strata meetings
  • Create and maintain strata policies and procedures
  • Act as chief warden and first aid officer
  • Act as the designated after hours contact person for security and strata emergencies

Qualities and Experience

  • Business management experience preferably within in a health care setting
  • Experience with strata and/or property management is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks within defined deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
  • A highly innovative mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks software
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relation skills to deal with all members of the strata community, the public and other external stakeholders
