A base salary of between $120-140K + Super + Car or Allowance + Bonuses c$20-30k

Position in a nut shell:
Reporting to the GM, the Business Manager is charged with leading the marketing, sales, hire and operations of the high performing Newcastle business.
Key Responsibilities:
The leadership and development of a team of 15-20 staff across sales, hire, operations and service
Financial administration implementing budgets, reporting on P+L
In tandem with the Operations Manager, ensure a smooth and efficient branch
Quality and safety
Marketing and high level business development this is a critical component of the role, so we really require someone who enjoys the commercial aspects
High level negotiation on upcoming major tenders
Manage an existing pipeline of major projects
Formulate and effect the strategy for new project wins
Drive deeper relationships with an existing key client portfolio
Ideal Experience:
This position would suit someone looking to move back to Newcastle, or that has an existing network in the area
As a Mini GM, the mandate is to run this division like your own business, so a high level of professionalism and commercial acumen is required
Proven sales leadership / business management / state manager experience realistically min 5 years in a similar role
We are open to all backgrounds within the building materials, civil engineering or heavy industrial space preference would be someone who has sold a solution rather than a commodity product
Further education / degree qualifications would add distinct advantage
Solid long term relationships with major building groups, engineering groups, maintenance managers / asset owners across the commercial construction, civil engineering, retrofit, mining, remediation / industrial space
Stable career history
An ambitious, tenacious, driven leader with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations
Autonomous and willing to report to Sydney based GM
