Business Development Manager VIC/TAS

We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive sales professional to further the business development efforts in place for the VIC/TAS market.

Based in our office in Notting Hill, and reporting to the VIC/TAS Sales Manager, this role will function within the Sales team, working closely with Partners to deliver leading Power and Infrastructure Protection Solutions.

This role's core focus is on the ongoing development of new and existing relationships, ensuring solutions and support meet customer's expectations, in addition to identifying new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in account management, new business development and ideally project management. You must be a skilled negotiator and closer with a real drive to succeed as this is a competitive but rewarding market.

Duties Include:

  • Taking ownership of existing customers, understanding their history, building a strong working relationship and exploring other business opportunities they could bring to the company.
  • Establishing and closing new business opportunities from identification of client requirements, qualification of the requirements and closing the deal.
  • Effectively establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders within NPS
  • Regular customer visits, managing activity to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions in line with statements of work and customer expectations;
  • Understanding, Communicating and Maintaining strong global product partners relations, including regular meetings and training.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sales Team to ensure new sales opportunities are appropriately transferred and managed.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail so that performance and results across ALL sales channels are maximised;
  • Excellent sales management skills including, strong communication skills, time management, organisational skills and the ability to build a strong working relationship with our global product partner network;
  • Ability to develop the appropriate solution for our customers in relation to the specific technical environment and commercial needs;
  • Accepting responsibility for themselves and their actions; and
  • The ability to earn and grow the respect of your peers and work colleagues whilst committed to achieving the company targets.

We are offering a highly attractive package with an OTE in excess of $130,000+ and open-ended Team Bonus.
