My client, a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial air movement and ancillary equipment, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join their highly skilled and focussed team.
Ideally coming from an industrial background with a strong OEM focus in heavy engineering.
The ideal candidate will have;
At least 5 years of experience at a senior level in a similar role.
Strong Mechanical aptitude or formal engineering qualifications.
A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of OH&S and a commitment to safe working practices
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key responsibilities include:
Manage current key account customers
Develop an excellent understanding of the current product range as well as identify and exploit parallel opportunities
Identify new markets & customers that align to the companys objectives
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
Some interstate travel will be required
Liaise with management to develop a national sales strategy
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join a fast growing company and take the lead in developing, increasing and supporting their presence in the market.
