This is an accounts payable/ payroll and general admin position assisting our Accounts department in daily accounting activities such as maintaining suppliers and subcontractor accounts, coding and checking suppliers invoices, entering approved invoices on accounting software (MYOB), monthly reconciliation, paying bills, payroll support and data entry and other administrative tasks.
Skills and Experience
In this role you will be supporting the delivery of payroll processing including systems, services and activities to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and maintenance of related records to comply with organisational and local legal requirements. You will be responding to payroll queries, creating accurate records, as well as, building effective stakeholder relationships to pro-actively recognise and deliver on other relevant ad-hoc duties.
To be successful in this role you will have functional understanding of MYOB from a payroll perspective, a thorough understanding and substantial experience in Construction industry, EBA based payroll using MYOB software. You will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role, as well as solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and good time management skills. Your excellent communication skills will be supported by your ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment working both autonomously and as part of a team.
