This position will lead and manage Apunipima's infrastructure and asset management services across the organisation to support the delivery of primary health care services to the people of Cape York.
The successful applicant will possess a Project management qualifications or relevant experience, recognised Fire Safety Advisor accreditation and a current QLD Driver Licence as essential.
To be successful in this role you will require demonstrated experience in planning for and coordinating major building and refurbishment projects in a healthcare environment, delivering on time and on budget, with high levels of stakeholder consultation and experience in managing project budgets, contractors, and applying sound financial management and purchasing principles. Experience with property portfolio management such as negotiating land tenure arrangements will be highly regarded.
Additionally, this role requires the successful candidate to have a demonstrated understanding of relevant regulations and standards which impact on the positions, in particular relevant building standards and regulations, WHS and fire safety and experience leading a team, and in supporting, coaching and mentoring staff
