Service Technician - Electronic Systems

Advance Care, the leading Australian provider of innovative Nurse Call & RTLS Solutions, are currently seeking an experienced service technician to join our Melbourne team due to unprecedented growth.

ESSENTIAL: Minimum 3-5 year's experience installing, commissioning and servicing ELV electronic systems.

The newly appointed Technician will support our installation team as well as undertake commissioning and servicing of Nurse Call, Security, DECT and MATV systems.  This roll includes after hours standby duty for and attendance to service calls from customers.

This roll will involve:

  • Responsible for ensuring faults at client sites are rectified promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring projects are commissioned to schedule and established documentation format complied with.
  • Ensuring sufficient parts and tools are taken to site to reduce return trips allowing sufficient time for projects.

Selection Criteria:


  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in installing and commissioning electronic systems such as Nurse Call, Access Control, Fire Alarms, Process Control or Security systems.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work output and performance.
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • A Stable and consistent employment track record - indicating stability and commitment.
  • Willingness to participate in afterhours on call roster.


  • Electronic trade or TAFE qualification
  • A keen interest in computers & IT
