Logistics Scheduler

Fulltime Role commencing January 2020, Well established dynamic company, Free onsite parking and close to local bus routes.

Advantage Property Styling is Sydney's premier property styling company. Using our extensive range of furniture, artwork and accessories, our expert team style properties across Sydney to increase their appeal to potential purchasers.

This is a varied and fast paced and pivotal role which reports to the General Manager and requires a high level of organisation, problem solving and multi-tasking. The successful person will be comfortable managing a high volume of emails and calls, finding solutions to unexpected challenges that arise, while remaining calm and focused on providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Optimise the utilisation of capacity through the effective scheduling of deliveries.
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding available bookings, staff availability and team composition.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm all relevant details have been communicated. paperwork is complete and outstanding issues are addressed prior to delivery.
  • Manage pickup lists and book pickups to ensure optimal sequencing with deliveries.
  • Accurately prepare an accurate and detailed daily run schedule, ensuring that geographic and access details, truck capacity and team capability are all taken into consideration to optimise capacity.
  • Promptly solve any issues that develop during the day to reduce impacts and ensure all details are accurately communicated to all internal and external parties.
  • Complete administrative and data entry duties relating to the management of rental contracts.
  • Prepare reports weekly or as requested.

The Successful Candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly and professional and have:

  • Proven success as a route planner/scheduler in a fast paced team.
  • Customer services focus with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • A flexible proactive approach, together with strong attention to detail and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve issues in a logical prompt manner.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills combined with a positive collaborative approach.
  • A minimum of intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
