This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We are seeking an Environmental Advisor with experience working in the Civil sector for our high profile Project in the Pilbara on a 2/1 FIFO roster. This is a fulltime permanent position FIFO from Perth.
This is position will be for an immediate start on our RIO Tinto Koodaideri Rail Project. As this is a Civil project there is a Christmas Shutdown planned. Further details to be confirmed if you are successful for the role.
To be considered for this position as an Environmental Advisor you must possess the following as a minimum:
Environmental Qualification / Degree
Relevant experience in a similar role within the Civil or Mining sectors
Effectively communicating environmental requirements providing accurate direction and advice
Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety (desirable)
Experience in Health and Safety on a Civil Project (desirable)
Excellent interpersonal skills, liaising with all levels of the workforce and our clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
As an Environmental Advisor on our site you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Implementation of project specific environmental management
Applications of project specific Environmental Management Plans
Risk assessment of project activities
Implementing ground disturbance and vegetation clearing programs
Applying for project permits, licences and approvals
Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance
Conducting project inspections and audits
