Reporting to the Senior Procurement Advisor, this is an opportunity to support the organisation in providing procurement (quotation and tendering) and contract support services to ensure adherence to councils tendering and contracting policies and procedures are achieved in a timely manner.
Assist with the development, maintenance and implementation of organisational policies, procedures and guidelines.
Develop tender documentation, including review and development of specifications, tender responses requirements and associated schedules, information and conditions.
Provide support and advice to Council staff in relation to procurement and contracts.
Assist in the maintenance and administration of Councils Contract Management System to ensure all procurement processes and contracts are accurately recorded.
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience in the establishment of contracts through tendering or quotation processes for a wide range of goods and services (essential).
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and evaluating tender submissions and a broad knowledge and understanding of tender evaluation processes and associated probity requirements (essential).
Proven capabilities in the preparation of written documentation including tender documents, contract documents, reports, policies, submissions, correspondence, etc. (essential).
Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing and editing a wide range of procurement and contract documents (essential).
