The role

Responsible for the quality and quantity of work at our Sunshine West depot. This role is responsible for the daily supervision of the mechanics, trade assistants and apprentices including allocating work, problem solving and maintaining effective working relationships, forward planning and delivering outcomes

What you bring

• Heavy Vehicle Diesel Motor Mechanic trade certificate
• Medium Rigid MR License
• An uncompromising attitude to OH&S and a ‘do things right first time’ mindset
• Well-developed computer, organisational & forward planning skills
• Experience updating work orders, entering defect notices, tracking parts, updating reporting and budgets and managing staff
• Ability to encourage and positively influence others to achieve results
• Willingness to get the job done whilst working in a fast paced environment
• Positive attitude towards all employees and management
• Able to vary your work hours and minimise maintenance overtime hours
• Previous experience using INFOR would be an advantage
