About the Role
The role reports to the HST Superintendent and will be responsible for the continuous improvement and development of the Safety Health Management System, as well the delivery and coordination of regular site training. The role is also responsible for consistently developing, reviewing and auditing site policies and procedures for compliance and updating site training needs analysis.
About the Candidate
You will have experience in a similar role within the coal mining industry and be an ambitious self-starter and team player. You will have exceptional communication and organisation skills and have excellent attention to detail. Proven experience in document auditing, the ability to review and develop training packages and procedures against legislation will be accompanied by the following:
Diploma in WHS and equivalent experience
Minimum Cert 4 in Training and Assessment
Proven understanding of WHS legislation and requirements
Excellent communication skills and an ability to build stakeholder relationships
Proven document auditing experience
The drive and motivation to drive the continuous improvement of site safety and training
