Our client is a leading Victorian-based association operating within the education sector and providing a range of advice and innovative services to members, in addition to acting as a highly effective advocate.
A newly created role, the Communications and Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the communications and marketing function. They will build on the organisations strong brand and reputation to strategically ensure the right messages are communicated effectively across all forms of media (print, brochures, publications, newsletters, social and electronic). Managing a small team, the appointee will be tasked with effectively communicating the role and the work of the organisation to members and the broader community. They will also lead the marketing of various services and offerings.
This new position requires a creative, enthusiastic and passionate communications and marketing leader who has the capacity to think differently and strategically, to deliver and tell the organisations story. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or related disciplines and experience working at operational and strategic levels in communications and marketing will be essential. It would also be preferred if candidates have had exposure to education, other service organisations, or in a member service environment. Experience working with diverse stakeholders and in a dynamic and growing environment would also be ideal.
