Strike Force Services Pty Ltd provide facilities management to mining & power industries throughout NSW & QLD.

We are pleased to invite experienced, dynamic, hardworking professionals within Operations, Infrastructure and Maintenance background to join our team in the Hunter Valley NSW area.  

 

About the role

 

You will work collaboratively towards distributing high-quality solutions and results. You will be responsible for;

  •  Working 10-hour days Monday to Friday
  • On call for breakdowns and repairs 24/7
  • Leading, supporting and developing an effective maintenance team in the delivery of a wide range of contracted maintenance services
  • Developing and building upon operational excellence, continually seeking improvements in the delivery of service
  • Delegating and allocating work orders as required to ensure contract requirements are achieved
  • Applying strategic asset management to meet the current and future needs of the business
  • Asset health monitoring, early defect identification and management
  • Performing the primary interface role between the maintenance team and the business ensuring that requirements are established and met
  • Managing the relationship and performance of all maintenance team members ensuring responsive and reliable service to the business
  • Conducting toolbox talks and shift prestart talks
  • Conducting periodical inspections of facilities
  • Compliance with legislation, regulations and industry standards
  •  Ensuring all WHS policies are met and upheld by all maintenance personnel

Skills and experience

 

  • Demonstrated experience in operations / infrastructure/ maintenance and/or facilities management field with proven ability to understand all aspects of given field in a mining environment
  • Knowledge of job specific computer programs including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, CMMS programs including SAP.
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands and multiple deadlines
  • Exceptional commitment to safety and high standards
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a solid focus on team culture
  • Outstanding sales and customer service
