Simpson Rayner Surveys requires an enthusiastic person for all office administration duties and assistance with Town Planning Reports required within our small team environment.
Due to a recent and sudden resignation, an immediate opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administration assistant or junior town planner seeking admin work to be a part of this fantastic team in newly constructed offices situated on the river adjacent to the Gateway Bridge. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide administration support to the office and in addition assist with compilation and lodgement of all Town Planning reports for assessment by the Local Authority.
Your varied day will include:
Answering and directing incoming calls
Assistance with research for town planning reports
All General reception duties
Updating and liaising with clients on all project status
Proficient at Microsoft Word & Excel
MYOB: Data entry, Reconciliation, Invoices, Payroll and Superannuation, PAYG and BAS preparation under supervision
Social Media: Website Maintenance & Facebook profile
To be successful in the role you will have impeccable client service skills, well-groomed presentation and a willingness to learn and exceed as a valued contributor to our small team environment. You will provide ALL administration support to the office, be front of house for client meet and greets and work autonomously on many varied job tasks.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills will be an advantage and willingness to learn and use MYOB on a daily basis and payroll processes although this can be taught within the 1-week transition period. Your good communication skills coupled with your ability to multi task and to work AUTONOMOUSLY will see you succeed in this role.
