We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a minimum of 18 months accounting office experience to join our Accounting team based at our Mt Pleasant office. Lawrence Business Management provides the highest level of professional service in areas such as Accounting & Tax, Financial Planning and Lending.
The role is a 12 month contract role with a start day of Monday, 6th January 2020. There is a possibility of an extension to the role for the ideal candidate.
Key tasks within the role will be:
Senior administration support to Senior Partner of the firm.
Preparation and lodgement of all ASIC forms and client reviews
Follow up on client documentation, including ATO documents, ASIC forms, BAS and IAS returns
Collation of client source documents and work papers for Accountants
Data entry within Banklink and Xero for client information
Preparation of client invoices and general correspondence
Attend to general queries from clients
Set up companies, trusts and prepare business name applications
General admin duties
To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience within an accounting firm.
Be well presented
Have a pleasant and professional phone manner
Good communication and time management skills
Have a positive attitude and willing to learn
Capable of working independently and within a team environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ideally have experience using Xero software and Excel.
