We are looking for candidates who have proven experience in managing the delivery of processes to assure integration of discrete rail systems into an operationally complete project.
To be considered for this opportunity you must possess the following skills and experience:
At least ten years of experience direct experience in systems integration testing and commissioning and management and delivery of processes to assure integration of discrete systems into an operationally complete project. Systems include signaling, telecommunications, control systems, station and operational IT systems, low voltage electrical, HVAC, fire, CCTV, etc.
Experience in preparation and review of systems integration technical submittals of various types, including:
Systems Integration Plan
Interfaces Management Plan
Interface Control documentation
Testing and Commissioning plans, procedures and reports
Handover to Operations plan
Experience of the successful progression of workstreams to resolve integration issues, within several disparate sub-systems, to achieve an integrated solution.
Ability to work with others and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, clients, consultants, staff.
Experience in design and installation of electrical control systems a plus.
Demonstrated ability to write concise and comprehensive professional/ technical/contract letters and reports.
You must also have achieved a tertiary electrical and electronic or telecommunications engineering qualification.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Knowledge and experience in ETCS and/or CBTC rail environments; and
A recognised relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar; or
Membership of a relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
