Office Administrator - Civil Construction

My client is one of Sydney's most respected construction companies, they cover everything from Heavy Demolition, Bulk & Detailed excavation to streetscapes & roadworks.

They are currently in a stage of rapid expansion and are looking for an Office Administrator, to join the team! 

Duties and Responsibilities of the role:

  • Managing administration duties
  • Assisting personal as well as site staff
  • Assisting the Director with Human Resources, advertising for vacancies, induction etc.
  • Coordinating monthly meeting
  • Collecting and collating monthly reports
  • Assisting Construction Manager with approvals, tenders, and other documents
  • Organising all company promotional materials,  ordering stationery and other office supplies
  • Diary Management
  • Assist with reception duties when required
  • Accounts Payable when required
  • Meet and greet customers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Photocopying, faxing, scanning and plan printer copying as required.
  • Use of MS Office including Outlook to manage and complete tasks.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • Experience within the Construction or Civil industry is a must! 
  • Office Management experience within Construction is a must
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Telephone Manner and communication Skills
  • Strong Attention To Detail
  • Customer Service Focus and very presentable
