Expocentric is looking for a friendly and organised Operations and Logistics Coordinator. This is a role that will allow you to see all sides of the company. You will work closely with our team of installers and factory workers, as well as the project managers and designers.
It is a fast-paced environment that requires you to be accurate and organised yet flexible and on-the-ball.
Duties and Responsibilities
Scheduling and booking all logistics for projects (transport, storage, labour hire, onsite requirements, flights and accommodation)
Coordinating time-sheeting and rostering with the Operations Manager
Liaising with transport, labour hire, and venues to find the most suitable and effective solutions for projects
Assisting Project Managers with special requests where necessary
Office admin tasks such as creating purchase orders and ordering supplies
Inducting/training of workers on systems and procedures alongside the Operations Manager
Creating job advertisements and job descriptions
Staffing event management
Assisting Operations Manager and Production Manager where necessary
Skills and Experience
This position would suit a recent university graduate with a degree in business, event management or administration, with 1 - 2 years office experience.
Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
Must be flexible and able to problem solve quickly
Work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
A team player
A certificate in logistics or warehousing and candidates with handyman skills advantageous
Ability to use and learn new software
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Great location in Rydalmere business park.
On the job training will be provided for all the tasks and duties.
