The Role: 

The Grounds require a Corporate Event Coordinator who can facilitate the seamless coordination of all conferences & events held throughout our venues each year. You will provide high-level client contact from sale confirmation through to the commencement of the event, ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction and memorable guest experiences.

This is a pure coordination role that will predominately focus on our corporate clients but also look at weddings, product launches, seminars, conferences & birthdays.

Primary Functions

  • Support the Events Sales Manager with the development & coordination of events at The Grounds.
  • Research all market sectors to identify opportunities for events and prospective clients.
  • Lead and develop event packages for event spaces seasonally, or as required, to ensure commercial viability and strong and competitive market presence.
  • Liaise with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements.
  • Assist client with all styling needs and outsource styling elements which are not in-house. 
  • Involvement or internal events and launches 
  • Interpret briefs and execute them from concept through to completion.
  • Ensure each client brief delivers a positive commercial result for the business.
  • Produce event sheets, chef sheets and floorplans for each event.
    Coordinate with Executive Head Chef & Event Head Chef regarding dietary requirements & menu changes

  • You will be able to work autonomously and possess a sound understanding of event operations within a busy venue.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential, as is a determination to seize opportunities to surpass guest expectations and enhance guest experience from the very first moment of contact.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Food and Beverage knowledge is a distinct advantage
  • Relevant qualifications in Event Management
