A full time positon is available for an Allocator/ Batcher at the Able Hornsby concrete plant. Able Concrete is a division of Metromix Pty Ltd, a large construction materials company operating in the greater Sydney region. Metromix has a commitment to safety, environmental care, quality and service. Metromix is seeking an experienced and professional individual to join the concrete division as an allocator/ batcher. Reporting to the Able Concrete Manager your responsibilities will be as outlined below

Key Responsibilities,

• Allocation of concrete trucks and batching of concrete.
• Supervise WHS activities.
• Stock management.
• Co-ordinate repair and calibration of plant equipment.
• Supervise day to day activities of a concrete plant.
• Supervise maintenance contractors.
• Fatigue management.

The successful applicant will be,

• Able to demonstrate a commitment to improve safety.
• Able to effectively supervise concrete truck drivers, plant staff and maintenance contractors.
• Experienced in the operation of a concrete batch plant.
• Able to allocate
• A strong communicator.
• A team player.
• Experienced in the operation of a front end loader.
• Experienced in the operation of a forklift.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Willing to develop their skills to achieve higher levels within the business.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
