We are a rapidly expanding firm of Chartered Accountants based in Castle Hill - next to Castle Towers shopping centre and the Castle Hill Metro station. Our firm provides accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a diverse client base.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and passionate Practice Manager to run the office on a day to day basis. You must have a "can do" attitude and possess strong organisational and communication skills. It is essential that you have previous public practice experience.
You will be supporting the Founding Partner, 2 Senior Accountants and a Graduate Accountant.
You must have a genuine ambition to progress your career and grow and evolve with the firm and have a minimum 4 year's full-time experience as a Practice Manager in a Chartered Accounting firm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Management of staff and workflow
Providing exceptional support to a team of accountants
Responding to client needs and queries
Day-to-day office management
Utilising MS Office products
Responsibility for maintaining the database management system
Assisting with the marketing, growth and development of the firm
Get involved with recruitment of new staff members and onboarding of new staff members
Maintaining the facilities of the office
Organising team events
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience - of at least 4 years -working within an accounting firm working in a similar role is essential for this role
A strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done
Strong time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Ability to multi-task and work both autonomously and within a team
A team player
Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
Advanced skills in Database Management systems - Salesforce
Experience using Accounting Software - Sage Handisoft
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office moderate/advanced Excel use.
Preferable to have experience using Xero. MYOB and Quickbooks

The annual salary for the role will be $75k-$85k + superannuation dependent on experience, with the opportunity for advancement.
