We are a rapidly expanding firm of Chartered Accountants based in Castle Hill - next to Castle Towers shopping centre and the Castle Hill Metro station. Our firm provides accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a diverse client base.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and passionate Practice Manager to run the office on a day to day basis. You must have a "can do" attitude and possess strong organisational and communication skills. It is essential that you have previous public practice experience. 

You will be supporting the Founding Partner, 2 Senior Accountants and a Graduate Accountant.

You must have a genuine ambition to progress your career and grow and evolve with the firm and have a minimum 4 year's full-time experience as a Practice Manager in a Chartered Accounting firm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Management of staff and workflow
  • Providing exceptional support to a team of accountants
  • Responding to client needs and queries
  • Day-to-day office management
  • Utilising MS Office products
  • Responsibility for maintaining the database management system 
  • Assisting with the marketing, growth and development of the firm
  • Get involved with recruitment of new staff members and onboarding of new staff members
  • Maintaining the facilities of the office
  • Organising team events

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience - of at least 4 years -working within an accounting firm working in a similar role is essential for this role
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and work both autonomously and within a team
  • A team player
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Advanced skills in Database Management systems - Salesforce 
  • Experience using Accounting Software - Sage Handisoft
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office moderate/advanced Excel use.
  • Preferable to have experience using Xero. MYOB and Quickbooks

The Package

The annual salary for the role will be $75k-$85k + superannuation dependent on experience, with the opportunity for advancement.
