We are currently seeking an experienced self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines in our VSS Coordinator role, supporting our Vendor Surveillance team, based at our Brisbane Office. This role would be suited to a candidate who enjoys variety, has excellent attention to detail and communication skills, and who enjoys interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure that Vendor Surveillance Service functions are effectively delivered on company business strategies and meet internal and external service standards.
Ensure effective operation of the team and their activities to ensure delivery of quality results.
Allocate assignments and manage requirements.
Ensure AMIS and ARC databases are utilized effectively and regularly maintained by team members.
Prepare quotations, tenders and submissions as required.
Report information on purchase order spending and costing levels.
Review and sign new employment contracts and independent contractor agreements on behalf of the company.
Attend to new enquiries and/or concerns raised by existing or potential clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships as an Account Manager.
Negotiate rates with clients and service providers.
Ensure all staff abides by the principals and philosophy required by company policies and procedures.
Maintain internal relationships with Applus+ teams to ensure ongoing support for the Inspection business.
Assist in the coordination and requirements of QHSE reporting and corporate procedures.
Complete monthly reporting requirements as directed.
Comply with all company QHSE policies and programs.
Reporting to the Queensland Manager, this position is available on a full time, fixed term basis, with commencement in the role planned for the beginning of December 2019.
This role requires a candidate with:
Degree or Diploma in an engineering or management discipline with additional 5 years practical experience in running a diversified inspection, expediting, or consultancy organization.
Computer literate with all relevant office computer programs (e.g. MS Office).
Highly developed communication skills and ability to lead, mentor and motivate a diverse group of employees.
Excellent commercial acumen and management skills, with ability to negotiate and operate across all levels within major corporations.
People skills understanding and feedback, assertiveness and influence, collaboration and conflict resolution.
A sound understanding of NATA requirements to maintain accreditation
