Earthmoving Mechanic

We are currently seeking trade qualified earthmoving Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics, who wish to be a part of a dynamic workforce at the Wellcamp Business Park - Civil Maintenance Team on a fixed task contract.

Reporting to the Maintenance Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the service and repair maintenance of the Wagner Corporation fleet of earthmoving & transport equipment including auxiliary plant and equipment and light vehicles. 

The majority of the fleet is modern and includes:

• Komatsu PC1250, PC200 & PC30 excavators, HD605 Dump trucks
• Caterpillar 6015 excavator, 773F Rigid truck. D9T & D10T dozers, 140M grader
• Volvo L120F Loader & EC480D excavators
• Dynapac Compaction Equipment including SD2500CS paver & Road Rollers
• Mack Prime movers & rigid 6x4 trucks
• Side tipper trailers & Dollys
• Renault Rigid tippers
• Lighting plants, generators & other auxiliary equipment.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Trade qualification
• Be a team player
• Experience in mentoring/training apprentices, working with trades Assistants & willingness to learn
• Safe work ethic
• Own transportation
• Flexible can-do attitude
• Ability to work autonomously
• Current Forklift ticket is desirable
• HR licence is highly advantageous, but not essential

This role does include shift rotation & may include weekend work as required.
