About the role
Financial Operations manages the Universitys financial reporting, compliance functions and delivery of corporate financial services. The Financial Services Team Leader will lead a team of accounts officers to deliver a range of financial services, including accounts receivable and payables functions, reconciliation of related general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers and preparation of relevant entries and work-papers required for annual financial accounts.
Remuneration package of up to $98,847 per annum, inclusive of base salary $82,219-$90,271 per annum and employer contribution to superannuation.
We are seeking applications from financial specialists with extensive experience in accounts payable/receivable in a large organisation and a thorough understanding of Public Finance and Audit Act and taxation legislation. You will be a natural leader with success promoting a positive and collegial team environment.
To be successful in this role you will also bring your excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, and have the ability to lead management of competing priorities and maximising outputs through efficiencies and an innovative and energetic approach to process improvement.
