Pedare Christian College is a coeducational Independent Anglican and Uniting Church School comprising of Junior (R-5), Middle (Years 6-9) and Senior (Years 10-12) based in Golden Grove. We are committed to developing young people to make a difference in our global community.
Due to an internal promotion, Pedare Christian College has a permanent opportunity for a customer centric Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join our team. This can either be as a full-time position or job-share arrangement.
We are looking for someone who is driven and motivated to succeed, you must be willing to go above and beyond to achieve the desired outcome. You will have excellent organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to hit the ground running. You must be adaptable, capable of dealing with change and enjoy working within a team environment. A high standard of professionalism is required.
Key elements for the position
Answer incoming telephone calls on the College switchboard
Provide customer service to all visitors of the College
Take cash and credit card transactions for payment of fees and receipt payments
Complete data entry and maintain records as required
Provide administrative support
Assist with marketing and promotions projects
Provide back up support for students and staff who require first aid assistance
Provision of an original, current DCSI Clearance or Working With Children Check
A current Child Safe Environments or a Responding to Abuse & Neglect (Education Care) Certificate
Qualification of First Aid to a minimum standard of BELS
Strong attention to detail
Sound understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
Certificate III or above in Business or Business Administration
Understanding of MAZE or similar student management system
Understanding of SEQTA or similar learning management system
Understanding of InDesign or other desktop publishing software
Understanding of EdSmart or similar School Organisation System
Understanding of Google docs and G-suite
