About the role

We are excited to share a unique opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager, responsible for leading and managing customer service, contracting and sales across Aurora Energys residential and commercial customers in Tasmania. 

In this role, you will provide high level leadership to our customer service centres and commercial sales and account management teams, including sales, contracting and billing.

A core focus of the role will be retention of customers and load, enabling smooth internal transition to our new retail energy platform.

Essential to the success of the Customer Service Manager will be the ability to optimise the cost base and upskill our people to prepare for the future as we proactively prepare and manage the transition of people and activity to our new retail energy platform.

About you

You will be a passionate and customer centric leader with experience in a customer service/sales and contact centre environment, delivering key objectives against set timelines and balancing business sustainability with exceptional customer experience.  You will lead by example and will advocate for achieving our desired culture. You will be able to demonstrate success in managing change or transformational programs with a focus on people and relationships with commercial outcomes.   Youll be well versed in balancing conflicting priorities and youll have a talent for problem solving.
