About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance, grounds, waste, security, compliance and facilities projects that enable the hospital to deliver quality care in modern facilities.
You enjoy leading a team to deliver facilities services and solutions. You have proven experience in delivering preventative maintenance programs, facilities projects and leading process improvement and innovation to optimise our facilities, services and sustainability.
You have a flexible and proactive approach to work and above all, you embody the values of Burnside Hospital. You want to work as a part of a dynamic team and will foster a culture that promotes a safe, harmonious and collaborative work environment.
Essential skills & experience:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity we are seeking applications from highly motivated applicants with:
- Experience in facility and asset planning and management
- Experience in implementing cost-effective preventative maintenance programs
- Experience managing a range of diverse, complex projects
- Experience in developing and managing operating and capital expenditure budgets
- Ability to lead, manage and inspire a team
- Ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
