We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Officer to join the finance team at DON in Castlemaine, reporting to the Payroll Manager.

About the Job
The current Payroll Officer vacancy is for a fixed-term opportunity with an anticipated start as soon as possible, and ending in July 2020. The key responsibilities of the role are:
Ensure all payroll information is entered into the system in a timely manner
Ensure all weekly employees are paid on time and accurately in accordance with the EBA and relevant award
Prepare and process manual pay adjustments as required
Payslips and Income Statements issued on time
Maintain payroll records accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation
The ideal applicant will be self-motivated and willing to work both individually and in a team environment. The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
Minimum 2 years payroll experience
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven analytical and problem solving skills to support the team when issues arise
Great attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines
