About the role

Operating for over 25 years, our company is located at Gawler Belt on the outskirts of Gawler. We have grown in output over the past few years and are now looking for a highly trained Factory Operation Manager to support the owners to continue to grow business opportunities.

Skills and experience

The position will report to the owners but will be responsible for all aspects of operational management which would include:

  • Production planning and scheduling.
  • Liaison with sales to ensure drawing department and production meets commitments to clients.
  • Control of purchasing and logistics.
  • H.R administration including engagement and training of employees.
  • Supervision of all OH&S functions.
  • Implementing continuous improvement programs to increase productivity and motivate employees.
  • Implementation of costing system.

A requirement of the position would be formal qualifications in production management with a proven record in this field together with training in OH&S and HR management.

This would be a senior role with additional opportunities for the right person to become more involved in the total business over the next few years.

A salary package commensurate with skills and past history would be offered.
