Fire Systems Tester

Firesafe Group Pty Ltd are a leading provider of fire protection systems to the Construction, Mining, Resources and Government sectors in both Western Australia and Victoria.

Our Bibra Lake fabrication centre is the leading producer of wet fire sprinkler systems and valve sets, with full welding, threading, roll-grooving and painting facilities.

Our design section utilise CAD, REVIT and Hyena technologies to produce the full suite of construction-relevant drawings.

Firesafe provide all aspects of fire protection, including wet-fire sprinkler systems, water mist and deluge, Special-Hazard foam and gas suppression systems, and dry-fire alarm and detection systems.

Additionally, our Service & Maintenance team offer inspection, test and repair services for all types of fire suppression systems, including sprinklers, extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, pumps, tanks, penetrations and electrical alarm & detection systems.

Role Description

Carry out routine inspections & maintenance of fire protection assets as per AS1851:2012 and OEM requirements, of the following systems:

  • Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Fire System Pumps & Tanks
  • Gaseous suppression systems
  • Kitchen system suppression systems
  • Fire hydrant systems
  • Fire hose reels

The applicant should possess the following:

  • Minimum 12 Months in a similar role
  • Trade Certificate Sprinkler Fitter
  • Certificate II in Fire Systems Asset Testing
  • Knowledge & understanding of AS1851-2012
  • Ability to Identify and Report Defects
  • Complete Logbook Records
  • Ability to use Smart Devices
  • Excellent Customer Service 
  • Work Autonomously / Team
  • Current Police Clearance
