The Financial Accountant position is performed over four days, with Monday being mandatory, and with flexibility around the 3 remaining days. Please note that this role will commence on 13 January 2020. This is an all-encompassing position that requires a strategic and analytical thinker with keen attention to detail, whilst tapping into your problem-solving skills in providing seamless support to the Financial Controller, and the extended Moriarty Foundation team where required.

We enable Aboriginal communities and families to unlock their own childrens potential. We tailor our approach to tackle local challenges and needs in communities, with local employment at the centre of what we do.
Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet with comparison to budgets.
Management of cash flow, including accounts receivable and payment of creditors.
Preparation of fortnightly payroll, including timesheet input for remote staff, and management of employee related expenses (ie PAYG withholding, superannuation, FBT).
Reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards.
Processing of creditor invoices for payment and creditor statement reconciliations. GST reconciliation and lodgement.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Assistance with reports for Grant Acquittals.
Support for external audit process.
Management of Moriarty Foundation insurances.
Ad hoc duties as required.
Minimum of 5+ years experience.
Extensive and proven relevant experience will need to be demonstrated.
A proactive, agile, team-conscious attitude, with excellent attention to detail.
IT proficiency across financial management software with experience in Xero.
High-level proficiency in MS Office in particular intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience working on a Mac Platform.
