Stralis Energy is a market leading Electrical Commercial Distribution Service provider, located in Ballina NSW. We offer a comprehensive range of level one (Essential Energy Network) Solar, Engineering and Electrical Distribution services to the Electrical industry, specialising in Complex Commercial and industrial projects. 

We are currently looking for a full time Accounts Administrator to join our growing team. 

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, motivated and articulate person who prides themselves on being efficient and getting the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Reconciling accounts
  • Processing payments and managing obligations to suppliers
  • Maintaining and updating records of receipts and invoices
  • Prepare & send invoices
  • Update internal accounting databases
  • Payroll
  • Processing of Supplier and Subcontractor invoices including matching of Purchase Orders to invoices.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as required

 

To be successful in this role you should have:

 

  • Sound knowledge of Xero software
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping & administrative procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify errors
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Experience in the Electrical industry preferable but not essential 
  • Take a proactive approach to develop and continually improving administrative systems
