Purpose of the role
As a result of an exciting period of growth across the MinterEllison business, the national credit team are looking to recruit a new senior credit officer into the Sydney office.
In this role, you will join a high performing team with talented and supportive professionals. This senior level role will see you working directly with a sociable team that assists the business on aspects such as managing the respective debtors ledger, collection of outstanding payments and ensuring monthly collection targets are met. You will be involved in a broad mix of:
Building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Making telephone collection calls
Following up on overdue accounts
Resolving client payment queries
Assisting in the implementation of specific projects relevant to the improvement of the collection processes, policies and procedures.
Preparing reports in Excel that assist with the management and tracking of overdue accounts
Management of e-billing portals
More About You
We welcome applications from Collections Officers who have:
5+ years' experience in a full function credit controller role - preferably in a professional services environment
Strong negotiation skills and effective communication skills
Supportive, friendly and helpful approach is a must.
A strong, proactive client service focus
Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
Be a proactive team member
Advance knowledge of Excel is essential
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in Elite or other Practice Management System preferred.
