Long Term Contract, Defence Environment, ILS Acquisition.
Seeking 4 x ILS Managers for long-term contract roles in Canberra with a minimum security clearance of NV1 (Active or reinstatable).
The roles assist with acquisition and transition to sustainment.
It requires someone with a depth of experience in ILS acquisition, someone who works well in a dynamic team environment and someone who enjoys a challenge (including schedule and innovative acquisition and support approaches).
The required services may include, but are not limited to:
Participate in weekly meetings
Provide input to the logistics monthly report
Support Gate 1 documentation suite development, planning and costing activities within acquisition logistics work stream
Input into the acquisition logistics documentation including ILSP and taking the lead for development and maintenance of the Support Concept
Input into ATM documentation including taking the lead on tailoring some Data Item Descriptions
Conduct or support analysis and assessments appropriate to the resources experience
Draft responses to correspondence, briefs and reports on acquisition logistics management
Understand and clarify acquisition logistics policy and legislation for stakeholders within Defence and Industry
Using MILIS for inventory management, cataloguing & codification, organising repair of repairable, support obsolescence management, supporting configuration management and other governance activities.
Review contracted deliverables and assist with development of contract change proposals
Undertake all ILS activities to support processing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), including review and assessment of ILS components of proposed ECPs, and review and update of ILS documentation and artefacts resulting from ECP.
Providing ad hoc ILS advice and support to projects.
Active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 at a minimum).
Advanced level of acquisition ILS knowledge and experience.
Advanced level of ILS document development skills (ILSPs, LSCs, TRSs etc)
Intermediate understanding of safety, risk and liability.
Exposure to and sound understanding of Defence Capability Life Cycle (CLC) and Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC).
Excellent team work skills.
Exposure to and understanding of ASDEFCON.
Experience in Tender development and evaluation.
Experience in developing or input to Capability Definition Documents Development, in particular supportability requirements.
Experience in planning, undertaking and or review of Logistics Support Analysis / Supportability Analysis.
Experience in Life Cycle Costing Analysis.
Experience with Asset Management ISO 55001.
Experience in planning, facilitating, conducting and or review of supportability verification and validation.
Experience in and knowledge of systems engineering reviews as applicable to acquisition ILS.
Experience in specifying, undertaking and or review of Reliability Availability Maintenance analysis.
Sound understanding of the SADL and DLM.
Sound understanding of SATCOM technology.
Interstate travel may be required
