The Role:
  
A Maintenance Supervisor is now required to undertake general maintenance requests ensuring that the buildings and fixtures of Bedford are maintained to agreed standards. This position is offered as a six month contract.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assigned building and maintenance works at Bedford sites.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in arranging and coordinating contractors for outsourced work.
  • Obtain quotes for any buildings, fittings, infrastructure and machinery repairs, replacement and upgrades.
  • Ensure all maintenance projects are completed to agreed standards and within designated timeframes.
  • Undertake assigned maintenance work as required at any of the Bedford sites including painting, carpentry and minor repairs.
  • Attend to all WHS issues as a matter of urgency. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Carpenter with experience in the maintenance or building industry. You will have the ability to work autonomously and possess excellent problem solving skills with a hands on approach. You will also possess the desire to contribute to the development, education and experience of people with a disability.
