Barker College is seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic Assistant Archivist to support the goals and aims of the Archives Department.
This is a Permanent, Term-Time Role from Term 1, 2020, to replace a staff member who is retiring. The successful applicant would be expected to attend Staff Orientation on 21 January 2020.
The Assistant Archivist role is 15 hours per term-time week. This could be worked over two or three regular days per week.
The overall purpose of the Assistant Archivist is to:
Experience in a small Archives Department plus a postgraduate qualification in Archives/Records Management would be preferred.
