The Graduate School coordinates year-round skills training, supports infrastructure and research facilities, and provides opportunities to accelerate career development for HDR candidates.

About This Opportunity

The Enquiries Coordinator is responsible for the provision of exceptional customer service for stakeholders of the UQ Graduate School and leading the team who are the central point of contact for all enquiries. This position will also provide support to the PVC (Research Training) and is a key role in ensuring the provision of a high standard of administrative services from the Graduate School and a client focused experience.

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

Our Ideal Candidate

Applicants should possess a bachelor level qualification and/or proven experience in customer service and office coordination or a combination of relevant experience, education and training in a service role. You will have exceptional customer service skills developed via experience in a customer service or enquiry role; ideally with exposure to telephone, front counter and email enquiries. Strong executive support and supervisory skills are essential; as are high level interpersonal and communication skills. You should be a capable problem solver with high level organisational skills and computer proficiency and a strong attention to detail.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW level 6.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,400 - $83,267, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $90,558 - $97,422.
