Mental Health Community Coalition ACT a not-for-profit mental health peak body - is looking for an experienced Office Manager to support a busy office dedicated to creating social change.

Reporting to the Executive Officer, this role is critical to supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation. The role comes with responsibilities across a range of business functions, including administration, bookkeeping, executive support, HR support, events, and membership management.

The position requires someone with excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to exercise effective judgement to prioritise tasks.

The ideal candidate

You will be experienced Office Manager or Office Administrator with proven success in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and a flexible and professional approach to work. 

The right candidate will be a highly dependable people person, able to adapt to a varied workload and manage competing priorities with limited supervision. You will have good interpersonal skills and be comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholder groups in a busy membership-based organisation.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent written communications abilities and a proficiency in handling the day-to-day financial functions of an organisation.

Prior experience in event coordination, database or website administration is desirable. The finance/bookkeeping functions of the role are supported by external bookkeepers and training/upskilling in this area is available.
