Senior Project Manager – Fit Out

Well respected commercial head contractor based in Melbourne CBD is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager – Fit Out Division. 


They are a client focused head contractor and deliver a wide range of small to large projects within Commercial, Educational, Hospitality & Healthcare. They have won various iconic industry awards throughout the years.

Due to large pipeline of projects won predominately in the education sector, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager.  

To be considered, you will have at least 5 years Senior Project Manager experience delivering medium to large Fit Out projects >$12m ideally in Melbourne in the past. Be an industry expert and ability to manage a large team of Project Manager. You will be an industry expert and have led large teams.
 
The Role

• You will be capable of overseeing and project managing fast paced programmes of multiple fit out projects simultaneously with support from a close-knit team consisting of a team of CA’s & SM’s.
• Excellent client / tendering skills
• You will have full life cycle responsibility for delivering the projects on time and within budget.
• Client management focused
• Liaising with all site personnel, contractors and stakeholders and managing both quality and safety
• Report weekly on all project financials and progress to targets
• Undergoing weekly coordination site meetings
• Obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the scope of works, contracts and project time frames & budget.
• Liaising with all relevant Consultants
• Delegating tasks
• Enforcing WHS guidelines and WHS Management,
• Sending Site instructions, RFI's and non-conformance notice

To be successful in this role you will need;
 

• Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering commercial fit out projects >$12m in Australia
• Good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and requirements
• Excellent organisation skills with an attention to detail
• Good computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & Microsoft Project. 
• IT Savvy
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to provide a high level of great works relation
• Professional, hardworking, approachable and committed to success.
