The Office of Local Government (OLG) is focused on strengthening the system of local government across NSW. OLG works collaboratively with the local government sector and other stakeholders to implement solutions that will support local councils to deliver the services and infrastructure that their communities need, both now and into the future.

About You (and The Role)
The OLG has an opportunity within their Strategic Services Team as a Leader, Client Services.
As Leader, Client Services you will lead a small experienced team who are responsible for providing timely administrative support within the organisation to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Your strong work ethic, well-developed ability to effectively manage people, strong writing skills and experience with electronic document management systems will be key to your success in this crucial role. This role will see you:
- Oversee workflow and document management systems and the assessment and preparation of correspondence
- Lead and direct staff including assigning work, reviewing and providing feedback on work performance and supporting staff with their professional development goals while encouraging a constructive and satisfying working environment
- Participate in, and where appropriate lead, multidisciplinary cross agency projects to achieve high quality outcomes
To be successful in this role you will understand of the mechanisms of government and be able to effectively lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring effective delivery of high quality correspondence in a high volume work environment. You will have experience in developing and maintaining effective partnerships with professional stakeholders to achieve quality business outcomes.
