An opportunity exists for a Yard hand/ Delivery driver/ forklift operator to join our team based at our Summertown Branch

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* pick up and delivery using truck/ute/trailer of the equipment above (and more) to and from sites

* pick up and delivery of parts with in Adelaide and surrounding areas

* loading and unloading of truck/ute/trailer on and off site

* operating of forklift (and other vehicles) for loading and unloading purposes

* pickup of machinery (dead or alive) from customers properties

* organisation of yard to accommodate new and use machines and display machines

* cleaning and detailing of new and used machinery

* assembly of new machinery

* minor mechanical and maintenance work

* cleaning yards and showroom 

* stock checking of whole goods, parts and accessories

* talking with customers and suppliers

* Ensuring compliance with OHS requirements

* Potential for Seasonal travel and weekend work 

* Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn 

* Heavy focus on customer communications

To be successful in this role the applicant must present well and be experienced in driving of machinery and different vehicles.

A current SA drivers licence, a Forklift licence and at a minimum a MR truck licence are required and a major part of the job. also experience with trailers will be needed. A knowledge and sense of direction of the Adelaide Hills is favourable.
