As a Paraplanner, you will provide extensive support to the advice team. You will be required to produce SOA's covering a variety of strategies with varying complexity.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Paraplanner, Ideally, you will need a strong understanding of financial planning principles and be RG146 qualified. Advanced technical skills and knowledge in SMSFs, gearing, insurance, investments, taxation, superannuation, cash flow modelling and estate planning knowledge would be highly regarded.
You will work closely in a collaborative environment which will see you both gain and share knowledge as you support the delivery of tailored, holistic advice documents to our advisers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Writing ROAs and complex SOAs
Assisting the adviser to develop relevant strategies through research.
Continually improve the SOA production process
Ensure advice documents are accurate, are professionally and logically presented, maintain internal compliance and follow all relevant company policies.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment and an understanding of the importance of working within that framework.
