Snowy Monaro Regional Council is looking to employ a Records Management Trainee to support in the monitoring, control and maintenance of the Electronic Records Management System for the organisation.
This vacancy will be offered in a Temporary (12 months) Full-Time capacity, 35 hours per week, located in Berridale this would be ideal for a candidates with similar experience in revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities:
The Records Management Trainee will report into the Supervisor Records Management, responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manage, scan, register and allocate all incoming correspondence into the Electronic Records Management System
Maintain and retrieve hard copies of records
Assist with maintaining the Electronic Records Management System and Records Register
Assist with Records and Archiving Disposals
Assist in streamlining and maintaining procedures
Provide a high level of customer service both internally and externally to the organisation
Successfully complete both on the job and technical training provided by Council and TAFE
Key Requirements:
Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality
Computing Skills including: typing and Microsoft Office plus a commitment to learn computer programs
Able to accept direction and provide feedback
Ability to work unsupervised
Willingness to undertake and complete formal Recordkeeping studies
Effective Customer Service skills
Current valid NSW Drivers Licence
