We are seeking an experienced and professional Event Manager on a full-time basis with a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the box to join our expanding team in the Martin Place Sydney headquarters.
This is a role which will launch you into upscale event management with a multi-award-winning team; working within Australia and internationally with some of the worlds most prestigious brands and with the worlds most revered personalities. The successful candidate must have at least three years' experience managing corporate events, a proven track record in project planning, budget management and the ability to work across a diverse portfolio of events. Working within a small team, reporting to the Account Director and the General Manager.
As a part of the corporate events team, you will manage a series of exciting high-end corporate events from end to end. You will work closely with the Event Producers, Event Managers and Coordinators to manage deadlines, budgets and the event delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
Holistic management of key corporate events, end to end
Management of event production, deadlines and budgets
Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and suppliers
Negotiating supplier contracts and ensuring fulfilment
Hosting and supporting key talent for various events
To be successful you must have:
A minimum of 3 years previous Event Management experience
Excellent attention to detail
A passion for organising events and flexibility to run on tight deadlines
Positive "can do" attitude and able to work closely with different teams
Be able to work autonomously when required
Excellent written, communication and time management skills
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Travel will be required as well as the ability and willingness to work out-of-standard hours from time to time.
The starting date will be early to mid-February 2020.
