Event Coordinator

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Event Coordinator on a full-time basis with a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the box to join our expanding team in the Martin Place Sydney headquarters. 

This is a role which will launch you into upscale event management with a multi-award-winning team; working within Australia and internationally with some of the worlds most prestigious brands and with the worlds most revered personalities.

The successful candidate must have at least one years' experience working in the events industry, a proven track record in office administration and the ability to work across a diverse portfolio of events. Working within a small team, reporting to the Account Director and the General Manager.

As an Event Coordinator, you will support Event Managers and Event Producers on a series of exciting high-end corporate events, tours and Ltape Australia. You will be responsible for the holistic management of our client event invitation process, inclusive of timelines and delivery, as well as general office duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Event Manager and Event Producers on corporate events, tours and Ltape Australia
  • Assisting onsite at events
  • Holistic management of client event invitation process, inclusive of timelines and delivery
  • Contributing to the creative process of event development
  • Management of vendors and vendor negotiation
  • Holistic management of the office administration
  • General office assistance

To be successful you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience in the events industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for organising events and flexibility to run on tight deadlines
  • Positive "can do" attitude and able to work closely with different teams
  • Be able to work autonomously when required
  • Excellent written, communication and time management skills

Salary will be commensurate with experience. Travel will be required as well as the ability and willingness to work out-of-standard hours from time to time.

The starting date will be early to mid-February 2020.
