Production Operator - Packaging

Our client is a well-known Veterinary Pharmaceutical Manufacturer and is currently looking for an experienced Production Operator (Packaging) to join their team located in Rutherford NSW. You will be working full time hours (38 hrs) 4 days a week.

About the Position:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform operations accredited in the SAS matrix (NB: These are included / identified in further detail below)
  • To ensure that scheduled packaging production is staged and ready for an efficient start up.
  • Complete line clearance procedures prior to the packaging process.
  • Correct handling of labels as per standard operating procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Monitor and inspect packaging processes at all stages assigned, including quality inspections of final product. Includes: batch and expiry quality and legibility, free of residuals, product count / weight and general product quality.
  • Report output rates vs output targets.
  • Report quality deficiencies and issues related to processing work orders
  • Maintain effective contamination control of packaging materials and bulk formulas used in packaging processes.
  • Train, and maintain skills in the operation of production packaging equipment to meet output rates, work instruction requirements, OH&S requirements and GMP
  • Report line stoppages to supervisor / manager that impact processing of work orders to ensure effective allocation of resource
  • Assist or undertake in the cleaning of equipment, or areas in line with GMP requirements and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete packaging documentation and relevant GMP records.
